The departure of the 35Km Trail race will follow the stunning coastal area of Biscoitos, later entering dense nature trails and agricultural paths, ascending about 12 km to the viewpoint of Rocha do Chambre, a landmark of the Azores Bravos Trail that has rightfully earned a place in our hearts.

The progression of the athletes will mostly follow trails and pasture fields, ascending one of the slopes of Caldeira Guilherme Moniz, which hosts various wild cattle among its pastures.

Upon reaching the top of Serra do Morião, the breathtaking view over Angra do Heroísmo, with its Monte Brasil and the Atlantic Ocean embracing it, will be the last breath of nostalgia for the Azores Bravos Trail and preparation for the descent to the UNESCO World Heritage city and, twice, the capital of Portugal.
